Generally, for works of authoritative literature or celebrities,we adopt the paper of requirement of 850×1168(mm).And we adopt the paper of standard requirement of 787×1092(mm)for common books.Besides ,There's the more extensive international requirement of 880×1230(mm) which our country has formally placed in national standard.

　When we confirm requirement of paper, we should pay attention to the size of the paper and the basic weight.We could adopt less basic weight as far as possible if it can be printed well as can cut down the cost of the publication.

　After confirming the kind and requirement of paper,we must choose the quality grade of paper seriously.As means we should be familiar with the characteristic of each paper-making factory's all kinds of products and the situation of products qulity.

　After that,we should print the same book at same printing factory in same period because it has great difference for shading of paper which is producted at different printing factory in different period.
